What to do on a rainy day in Montauk

One of the most common questions our front desk deals with is “What is there to do in Montauk when it’s raining.” Usually this is accompanied by some foot stomping, eye-rolling, and rain dancing. The way that many people deal with the inevitable sadness that comes with a rainy day at the beach is to go to one of the many great bars/restaurants and drink the day away. We have a couple alternatives for those who would rather do something wellness-oriented, for those who may have their kids with them, and for those who would rather get in the car and take a drive. Of course, we will also follow up with some of the best places to get some hot food a cold drink, and maybe even a shot of whiskey. This is part one of a multi-part series.

Just because it’s raining doesn’t mean you have to feel down. Check out some of these options for how to feel good so when that sun comes out you’re ready for it.

  1. Yoga/Cardio Boxing in the Studio.

We have a full cardio boxing schedule on year-around free of charge to the guests. We also have free yoga during peak season. Take a class with one of our wonderful instructors and feel better the rest of the day.
